For a Sharks team that’s already stared down three elimination games, being tied 2-2 in their second round series with the Colorado Avalanche — and having home ice advantage at the moment — isn’t a bad place to be compared to where they were just two weeks ago against the Vegas Golden Knights.
“Let’s be honest, I don’t think anyone was thinking we were going to come here and sweep both games,” Sharks coach Pete DeBoer said after his team’s 3-0 loss to the Avalanche on Thursday in Game 4.
