1. Who emerges as right wingers in the Sharks’ top nine forward group? Kevin Labanc will be no doubt there, but on what line? Sasha Chmelevski switched from center to right wing for the Sharks’ final game at the Anaheim rookie tournament on Tuesday, but is he ready for a top-nine role? Melker Karlsson played on Joe Thornton’s wing toward the end of the Sharks’ playoff run, and provides more experience. Other experienced options include Lukas Radil and Dylan Gambrell.
2. How much will Erik Karlsson play in the preseason?
