Tonight is the first round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and a slight salve on a dumpster of a season is that the San Jose Sharks will be picking inside of the top-10, a rarity for a team that’s been plagued with perpetually competitive results over their less-recent history.
And for a team that needs a quick turn around, the good news is that they’re armed with eight picks, only losing out on one of their original picks, while snagging a few middle/late-rounds picks at the 2021 trade deadline.
