Next season, the NHL will have 32 teams, and we finally have an idea what the newest one will look like. The Seattle Kraken selected 15 forward, 12 defenders and three goaltenders from 30 of the current teams, excluding the Vegas Golden Knights.
Per CapFriendly, the Kraken roster comes in with a cap hit of $52,548,333, though several players still require a contract for the 2022 season, including forward Alexander True, whom the Kraken selected from the San Jose Sharks.
Surprisingly, no deals were made with the Kraken ahead of the Expansion Draft.
