2020 Sharks Draft: Every move made in rounds 5-7

The San Jose Sharks are stocking the prospect cabinets in the second day of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The team was facing a gap between Round 2 and Round 5, but a series of swaps have seen the Sharks make a third- and fourth-round selection, as well.

In Round 6, the team is currently without a pick. Perhaps one of the seventh-round selections will be packaged off with a future pick to move up into the sixth round, especially since the two seventh-rounders are only separated by a handful of picks.

Small players have been the Sharks’ theme for today, taking four sub-6-foot prospects before taking 6-foot-3 Brandon Coe in the fourth round.
