The 2020 NHL Draft is in the books and the San Jose Sharks added nine prospects to their pool. General manager Doug Wilson traded the Sharks’ own first-round selection (No. 3 overall) to the Ottawa Senators in the Erik Karlsson deal.
Here is a breakdown of the nine picks:
- Just three of the forwards the Sharks selected are centers.
- Four are from Canada; the United States, Russia, Sweden and the Czech Republic are also represented.
- Six are right-handed shooters, three are lefties.
