2017 NHL Draft: Sharks select Scott Reedy in fourth round

San Jose traded their fourth round (123rd overall) and sixth round (174th overall) picks to the New York Rangers for their fourth round (102nd overall) pick. With that pick, the Sharks selected forward Scott Reedy.

Reedy played last season with the U.S. National Under 18 Team, putting up 42 points in 60 games. A right-handed shot, he plays both center and left wing.

Born in Prior Lake Minnesota, Reedy has committed to the University of Minnesota for next year.
