The San Jose Sharks will be shorthanded when they host the Nashville Predators in Game 7 tonight.
Forward Matt Nieto will not play with an undisclosed injury suffered in their Game 6 loss. Tommy Wingels will take his place in the lineup and is expected to play on the fourth line with Dainius Zubrus and Nick Spaling.
“We have to be on the forecheck, we have to play with some speed and play physical,” Spaling said of the line, via the San Jose Mercury News. “Try to get the puck in their end and gain some momentum that way.”
Wingels hasn't dressed since Game 4, where he got 15:32 of ice time. He has one goal in this series, coming in San Jose's Game 1 victory.
