The San Jose Earthquakes advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Wednesday night with a 2-0 win against the San Francisco Deltas at Avaya Stadium. Less than four minutes into his professional debut, Earthquakes’ No. 6 overall 2017 SuperDraft selection Jackson Yueill gave the Quakes an early lead. Two minutes later, midfielder Cordell Cato doubled the score to secure the victory.
