On Tuesday morning, U.S. Soccer announced details for USMNT and U.S. U-23 camps that are taking place concurrently in Florida later this month. Three San Jose Earthquakes players – Cade Cowell, JT Marcinkowski and Jackson Yueill – will be joining the U-23s.
Here are five things to know:
1.The U-23 camp takes place from January 9-24, with select players then joining the USMNT for a planned match at the end of the month.
2.The camp will serve as the team’s final gathering ahead of Olympic qualifying in March.
3.Cade Cowell, 17, is the youngest player invited to the U-23 camp.
