SAN JOSE -- The Earthquakes added another big foreign team coming to the Bay Area with a game against Spanish side Real Sociedad on May 18 at Avaya Stadium, the team announced Thursday.
The 7:30 p.m. Wednesday kickoff also features a promotion with Alaska Airlines: the first 9,000 fans in attendance will receive a voucher for 50 percent off flights for up to two Bay Area residents. Details about the promotion will be announced later, the team said in a news release. Tickets go on sale to the public Monday. They are available at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000.
