With a few late scratches from the lineup in addition to the swelling list of injured and suspended players, Dominic Kinnear filled out an unorthodox lineup card on the road against the Seattle Sounders, handing a Quakes debut to striker Chad Barrett against his former club, and giving 19-year-old Matheus Silva his first professional start.
The play on the field wasn't half bad, and some decent individual performances from the likes of Simon Dawkins produced at least four golden opportunities to score, the last of which, a "white rhino" of a missed penalty from Chris Wondolowski, hurt most.
