San Jose Earthquakes academy product and Stanford freshman Amir Bashti capped off a memorable first year with the Cardinal by helping win the school's first-ever College Cup Sunday in Kansas City.
Bashti, a Cupertino native, finished his freshman campaign with four goals, two game-winning goals and two assists in 21 games played. He becomes the first Quakes academy player to hoist a College Cup.
