SAN JOSE — The Women’s College Cup — soccer’s Final Four — is returning to Avaya Stadium in 2019 and 2021, the NCAA announced Tuesday.
After playing host to the event in December as a replacement for Cary, North Carolina, the South Bay again will be the center of the women’s soccer universe for the fifth and sixth times. The West Coast Conference won the bids with the San Jose Sports Authority. They also were awarded the 2021 Division I men’s basketball first and second rounds at SAP Center. The West Regional won by Gonzaga was held in San Jose this past season.
