Georgia are coming off their Euro 2020 playoff heartbreak in recent days and had to get right back in the saddle, as they faced Armenia in UEFA Nations League play on Sunday.
San Jose Earthquakes attacker Vako scored Georgia’s goal on the day from the penalty spot to tie up the match, but it wasn’t enough, as Armenia scored a late winner in Tbilisi for a 2-1 result.

It must be said, the penalty that preceded this looked pretty suspect.
Vako didn’t start the match, instead coming off the bench in the 56th minute after playing most of the playoff last week against North Macedonia.
