U.S. Men’s National Team U-23s head coach Jason Kreis unveiled his roster for a training camp in Guadalajara, Mexico for the next couple weeks, and two San Jose Earthquakes players — goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski and midfielder Jackson Yueill — are invited.
31 players are invited to the camp, and with only 20 making the final roster for the Concacaf Olympic qualifying tournament, which begins Mar. 18 in Guadalajara, competition will be fierce to maintain a spot on the squad. There is also a chance players not in the camp could be called up for Olympic qualifying, which doesn’t definitively close the door for a third Earthquakes player, Cade Cowell, although this probably means he won’t be called up for the tournament in the end.
