San Jose Earthquakes’ JT Marcinkowski joins USMNT for El Salvador friendly

San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski has been called up to the U.S. Men’s National Team to replace David Ochoa, who left the ongoing camp due to a quad injury.

The USMNT are training and will host El Salvador in a friendly Wednesday in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. Marcinkowski is the second addition from the Quakes to Gregg Berhalter’s roster, joining Jackson Yueill.

The roster is quite young and inexperienced, based mostly in North America because it’s outside the FIFA window, and Marcinkowski, who has been called up twice previously for the USMNT but has yet to make his senior team debut internationally, could potentially see that against El Salvador.
