The show will go on, as the game between the San Jose Earthquakes and LAFC has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 8 pm PT, MLS announced on Tuesday.
The game, originally scheduled for Sunday at Earthquakes Stadium, was postponed because of three positive coronavirus tests last week on LAFC’s squad. The league opted to postpone, and they concluded the outbreak was evidently under control, so gave the green light for the game to be played.
This is the last possible time the game could have been played (aside from Thursday, maybe), with the MLS regular season wrapping up on Sunday, when the Earthquakes play the Vancouver Whitecaps.
