Last Wednesday, July 11, Reno 1868 FC earned a 4-1 win over LA Galaxy ll at StubHub Center. Quakes midfielder Chris Wehan tallied a goal and an assist in the match and Quakes defender Paul Marie tallied an assist.
On Saturday, July 14, Reno fell 4-2 to Monarcas Morelia in an international friendly. At only 16 years old, Quakes Homegrown players Gilbert Fuentes and Jacob Akanyirige made their professional debuts in the match. Quakes Academy product Ivan Valenica, who signed with Reno in May, also made his professional debut in the match.
Reno now has a 16-match unbeaten streak in USL regular season play and will look to extend the streak to 17 matches when they take on Saint Louis FC on Saturday, July 28, at Greater Nevada Field.
