Reno 1868 FC forward Corey Hertzog opened his scoring account with the club after tallying a pair of goals in Saturday night’s 2-2 draw against Tulsa Roughnecks FC at Greater Nevada Field. Quakes goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski was featured in the Starting XI for Reno.
Saturday’s contest between the two clubs was a back-and-forth showdown. Hertzog’s one-touch finish in the 29th minute gave Reno the lead, but Tulsa responded with a goal of their own in the 36th minute. Hertzog struck again in stoppage time of the first half, giving Reno a 2-1 lead going into halftime. A goal by Tulsa’s Rodrigo da Costa in the 60th minute forced Reno to settle for a point.
