MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The San Jose Earthquakes defeated Minnesota United FC 1-0 at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. on Saturday night, earning their first road win of the season. The Quakes made a goal by Florian Jungwirth early in the second half hold up by keeping their third shutout of 2017.
Chris Wondolowski tallied his fourth assist of the year in the victory, equaling the second highest total of his 13-year MLS career. His four assists currently rank tied for second in all of MLS and first among forwards. Jahmir Hyka was also credited with an assist, his third of the season.
