FRISCO, Texas. - The San Jose Earthquakes earned three points on the road Saturday night with a 1-0 win against FC Dallas. Earthquakes midfielder Jahmir Hyka scored in the 81st minute to defeat the Texas side that prior to the encounter were unbeaten in the 2017 season.
Earthquakes goalkeeper David Bingham earned his fifth shutout of the season, making the Quakes the first team to keep Dallas goalless at Toyota Stadium since Sept. 10, 2016. The result also marked the first time FC Dallas has lost at home since Sept. 10 of last year.
The Earthquakes return to Avaya Stadium on Saturday, May 27 to face California rival the LA Galaxy.
