RECAP: Earthquakes #BeatLA 2-1 in California Clasico

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes came from behind to defeat the LA Galaxy 2-1 Saturday night at Stanford Stadium in front of 50,617 fans with Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski and midfielder Shea Salinas each tallying goals. With the result, the Quakes are now undefeated in five of the six California Clasicos at Stanford Stadium (4-1-1) and have come back in all four wins.

The Galaxy opened the scoring in the 11th minute through Jelle Van Damme, but Wondolowski equalized the match in the 75th minute from goalkeeper David Bingham’s assist, scoring his ninth career goal against LA.
