The Quakes looked like a team that, frankly, didn’t know what they were supposed to be doing Saturday. A one-track attack, a midfield that was overrun on counter-attacks, a scattershot backline, and a goalie that might not be long for his staring job all worked together to create one of the worst performances in cache Matias Almeyda’s tenure — one that brings under scrutiny his entire managerial approach and if it can work with this roster and in MLS.
