COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – As far as Earthquakes coach Dominic Kinnear is concerned, the best part of Saturday’s match with the Colorado Rapids is that it’s now in the rearview mirror.

Led by two goals from Shkelzen Gashi, the last-place Rapids put together a rare scoring spree in rolling past the Quakes, 3-0, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

The loss snapped a two-game win streak for the Quakes (4-4-3, 15 points), who host Orlando City SC on Wednesday.

“That’s the positive right now,” Kinnear said. “We can put this one quickly behind us and get back on the field quickly on Wednesday.
