Voting for MLS End of Year awards is starting this week, and the San Jose Earthquakes’ Homegrown defender Nick Lima is up for Rookie if the Year. Lima’s season included many highlights, from shutting down Montreal's Ignacio Patti during his MLS debut, to scoring the game-winning goal against Colorado in July. To celebrate Lima’s successful first season, the Quakes have featured him on the cover of the "first edition" of the esteemed mock publication, Quakes Illustrated.
