SAN JOSE -- A couple of Panama joes transported the Earthquakes just when they needed it Wednesday night in a Major League Soccer game at Avaya Stadium.
It also didn't hurt seeing leading scorer Chris Wondolowski get his first two assists of the year in a 3-1 victory over the drooping Houston Dynamo. But the Panama connection took the spotlight on a night that saw Houston lose its goalkeeper with a red card with no substitutions available. With 10 minutes left in regulation play, it probably didn't matter after the dazzling display by winger Alberto Quintero, who scored twice and added an assist in his best game in San Jose.
