SAN JOSE – The Earthquakes’ profoundly disappointing season continued with a 1-0 loss to the Seattle Sounders on Wednesday night at Avaya Stadium, which extended their MLS winless streak to 11.

The Quakes lost their third in a row in the Western Conference contest in front of an announced crowd of 16,478.

San Jose has not won at home since its season opener on March 3.

“Not good enough all across the board, not even close to good enough, not even remotely good enough to get a tie,” forward Chris Wondolowski said.
