SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Vako and defender Guram Kashia have been called to the Georgia National Team for a trio of matches as part of UEFA Euro 2020 qualification and Nations League competition.
The Georgians will first host Belarus on Oct. 8 (9 a.m. PT) in a UEFA Euro Qualifier, before traveling to face Armenia (Oct. 11 at 9 a.m. PT) and North Macedonia (Oct. 14 at 11:45 a.m. PT) in Nations League. Georgia is currently in second place in League C’s Group 2 with a 1-1-0 record.
Vako, 27, has tallied 26 goals and 13 assists in 92 appearances (72 starts) for San Jose since joining in 2017.
