The San Jose Earthquakes have re-signed Alan Ortega (CaliSCG) as the club’s eSports athlete for the upcoming eMLS season. The Stockton, Calif. native will look to build on a busy 2018 in which he signed as the first-ever eSports athlete for the Quakes, competed in the inaugural eMLS Cup, and was named an EA Gamechanger.
“I’m excited to represent the Quakes for the second season of eMLS,” Ortega said. “It’s an honor to be able to play for San Jose and compete at one of the highest levels of professional gaming. I can’t wait for what is to come in 2019.
