The updated MLS Power Rankings have been released and the Quakes dropped from third to seventh place. The Quakes completed a tough stretch of matches having played six matches in just 23 days. They were unfortunate not to take all three points from the Mile-High city after striking the post twice during the match and dominating the Rapids in possession (65%), shots (17-14), passes (543-290), and pass accuracy (86%-72%). Despite the loss, the signs of progress are clear. The Quakes can impose their style of play on any team, anywhere. Just a small bit of improvement and the Quakes will be climbing back up the Power Rankings.
