SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Quakes Foundation will host a MOVEment Week featuring a variety of community service events from May 21-28. Benefiting the local Bay Area community and neighborhoods close to the Quakes organization, the MOVEment Week aims to inspire people to be more active and join the movement to help those in need.
The week will include campaigns and events that will benefit five different nonprofit organizations, including BAWSI, Casa de la Esperanza, Second Harvest Food Bank, Ubuntu Football Academy and Special Olympics Northern California. The week also kicks off a larger campaign in collaboration with Honduran defender Victor Bernardez to raise ultra-durable soccer balls for the San Pedro Sula community in Honduras.
