After the 4-3 win over Sacramento Republic FC and the heartbreaking 3-1 loss at the hands of LAFC, the Quakes U.S. Open Cup run has come to a close. The Quakes put up a good fight against LAFC at the Banc but ended up falling short. According to the MLS Power Rankings, the Earthquakes now hold the 11th spot, down from their season high of 10th.
