On Sunday, August 19, Quakes television analyst Danielle Slaton will be heard on a national soccer broadcast, however it won't be from Avaya Stadium, or calling the name of Quakes players. When the New England Revolution takes on DC United at the new Audi Field, Danielle, alongside Lisa Byington and Katie Witham, will team up on Fox Sports to form the first all-female broadcast team to call a men's professional soccer match.
"While I'm excited to be part of history, I hope that we are getting closer to the point where this is no longer a notable event," said Slaton, who is in her third season with the Quakes and eighth of her broadcast career.
