SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes Homegrown defender Nick Lima and midfielder Jackson Yueill have been called to United States Men’s National Team to compete in pair of international friendly matches against Mexico and Uruguay from Sept. 2-10.
The USMNT will face rivals Mexico on September 6 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey and Uruguay on Sept. 10 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Mo.
Lima, 24, signed for the Earthquakes as a Homegrown Player from Cal ahead of the 2017 MLS season. Lima has recorded a game-winning goal and two assists in 20 appearances this season and has been named to the MLS Team of the Week on three occasions.
