SAN JOSE, Calif. – Major League Soccer today announced the list of players available for selection in the 2016 Expansion Draft. The Expansion Draft will provide an opportunity for expansion clubs Atlanta United and Minnesota United FC to select up to five players each from the list of 259 available players. Atlanta United will have the first selection in the Expansion Draft.
The San Jose Earthquakes have protected goalkeeper David Bingham, defenders Victor Bernardez, Andres Imperiale and Kofi Sarkodie, midfielders Fatai Alashe, Cordell Cato, Darwin Ceren, Simon Dawkins, Anibal Godoy and Shea Salinas, and forward Chris Wondolowski.
