SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes defender Guram Kashia has been called to the Georgia National Team for the upcoming Euro 2020 Qualifiers.
Kashia will join Georgia for matches against Gibraltar on Friday, June 7 (9 a.m. PT) and Denmark on Monday, June 10 (11:45 p.m. PT). Georgia looks to qualify for their first-ever UEFA European Championship, which for the first time in tournament history, will be held in 12 different venues around Europe.
Kashia, 31 has scored two goals in 70 prior appearances for Georgia. The defender signed for San Jose midway through the 2018 season and has made 17 appearances for the club since.
