Former San Jose Earthquakes Academy goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski has been called up by the U-20 U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Tab Ramos for the April 3-10 training camp in London, England, in preparation for the 2017 U-20 World Cup.
Marcinkowski, 19, currently plays for Georgetown University and recently joined the U-20s for the CONCACAF U-20 Championship where the USA earned first place.
Following the championship, he trained with the Earthquakes for a week and was one of the nine academy members honored at halftime during the match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC. General manager Jesse Fioranelli and technical director Chris Leitch awarded the academy members with scarfs as a congratulations for representing their countries at the international level.
