SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes’ third-annual Winterfest will return to Avaya Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The holiday festival will feature 20 tons of snow and holiday-themed activities, including rotating performances, inflatable games and a craft fair. Canned goods are a suggested donation upon entry to the festival and will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.
The two-acre 7UP Epicenter at Avaya Stadium will be transformed into a winter wonderland with decorations designed by Local Color San Jose, a local incubator for artists. With 20 tons of snow available for snowballs and snow angels, fans will have an opportunity to have a true winter experience and should arrive early to catch the snow before it melts or reserve a predetermined time here.
