SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that fewer than 5,000 tickets remain for the California Clasico at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, June 30, presented by Sutter Health. Kickoff is slated for 6:45 p.m.
The California Clasico is the Bay Area’s biggest summer sporting event, with the rivalry match between San Jose and the LA Galaxy drawing more than 50,000 fans every season since its inception in 2012.
San Jose holds a 4-1-1 record in six prior contests against the Galaxy at Stanford Stadium. Last season, the Quakes scored two late goals, including a 93rd-minute strike by Shea Salinas, to win 2-1.
