SAN JOSE, Calif. – The match between the San Jose Earthquakes and Los Angeles Football Club scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, Nov. 1, has been postponed.
Earlier this week, LAFC announced three positive cases of COVID-19 among their player group. While the remaining players and staff have continued to test negative, including yesterday, out of an abundance of caution, the match has been postponed to allow for additional testing and evaluation.
Major League Soccer is evaluating whether the match can be rescheduled prior to Decision Day presented by AT&T, which takes place Nov. 8.
