SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski is among 24 players named to the 2019 Major League Soccer Homegrown Team for their match against the Chivas de Guadalajara U-20s. The annual All-Star-week event will take place on Tuesday, July 30 at 2 p.m. PT (TUDN / Twitter) at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex near Orlando, Fla., presented by Energizer®.
It marks a second-straight appearance on the MLS Homegrown team for Marcinkowski, who previously started and played 45 minutes during the 2018 Homegrown Game against Tigres UANL's U-20 squad (1-1).
A product of the Quakes Academy, Marcinkowski, 22, was the third player to ink a Homegrown Player contract in Earthquakes history.
