When the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup kicks off on June 7 from France, a familiar face to Quakes fan will be part of the broadcast. Fox Sports has announced that Earthquakes analyst Danielle Slaton will be part of a five-team broadcast crew reporting from France.
Slaton’s broadcast partner will be longtime broadcaster, Scotsman Derek Rae. Rae most recently was part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia broadcast team and can be heard as part of EA Sports FIFA19 video game.
“Fox Sports has put together a diverse, all-star cast for this all-star event. I am very excited to play a role in it”, said Slaton, who is in her fourth season with the Quakes and ninth of her broadcast career.
