U.S. Soccer revealed the squad for the U.S. Men’s National Team friendly against Trinidad & Tobago scheduled for Jan. 31, and two San Jose Earthquakes players, JT Marcinkowski and Jackson Yueill, made the team.
The friendly will wrap up the annual USMNT January training camp, which this year was a combined senior national team and U-23 squad, now trimmed and consolidated. A third Earthquakes player, Cade Cowell, was not on the squad for the T&T game, although Cowell was getting his first call-up and I believe he was the youngest player in the entire camp, at just 17 years of age, so he may have been there primarily to soak up the environment and get a look at the national team set-up, something Gregg Berhalter has done previously with young call-ups.
