Today JT Marcinkowski and Jackson Yueill took the next step in the national team careers when they were called up to the US Men’s National U-23 Team for their upcoming friendlies on March 22 and March 24 against Egypt and the Netherlands. Both have represented the men’s national team at younger levels, but this is their first call up to the U-23’s.
Marcinkowski signed a homegrown player contract before last season making him the third player in Quakes history to do so after Tommy Thompson in 2014 and Nick Lima in 2017. Marcinkowski spent most of last season on loan with the Quakes affiliate Reno 1868 FC and helped get them into the USL playoffs with a plus 18 goal differential.
