Quakes defender Kip Colvey played 90 minutes for New Zealand, while Quakes goalkeeper David Bingham played the entire second half for the United States as both countries battled to a 1-1 draw Tuesday night at RFK Stadium.
Colvey, 22, made his first start for the All Whites since helping his country win the OFC Nations Cup in June. The San Jose rookie proved to be a solid presence at the left back position Tuesday night, threatening in the attacking third with timely services and defending well against the speedy DeAndre Yedlin.
