The San Jose Earthquakes will aim to return to the win column with another road game in Southern California Wednesday night, this time against LAFC at Banc of California Stadium.
The Quakes returned to action Saturday with a California Clasico, but were on the wrong end of a 3-2 result, with two controversial calls in the LA Galaxy’s favor flipping the result in the end. While it is always disappointing to lose to the rival, the Earthquakes can be heartened by their quality and energy overall on the night, as they went toe-to-toe with LA despite having been on a monthlong layoff between phases of the MLS season.
