The San Jose Earthquakes return to action following a three-week break in MLS play on Saturday when they help Austin FC open Q2 Stadium in MLS play, in the teams’ first-ever meeting.
The Quakes probably could have used the break, seeing as they are on a four-game losing streak at present, despite not playing especially badly as a group in that span. So hopefully they’ve reset and are ready to go, starting with Josh Wolff’s Austin FC team.
The expansion side got off to a good start in MLS play, picking up eight points in eight matches, all on the road.
