During the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Avaya Stadium became the premium destination for any soccer fan to watch the tournament. The San Jose Earthquakes hosted viewing parties for all 64 World Cup matches at their home, welcoming 50,000 fans during the tournament.
The matches that featured the Mexican National Team saw more than 7,500 fans came out to support their favorite team in the tournament.
You could also catch Earthquakes front-office staff attending the viewing parties, including Head of Scouting Bruno Costa, who was locked in when supporting his native country Brazil.
7,000 fans came to Avaya Stadium to watch the final between champions France and runners-up Croatia, including Quakes defender Paul Marie.
