The Quakes recently announced the signing of goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski to a Homegrown Player contract. Here are six things to know about the Quakes’ newest player:
- Marcinkowski is the club’s first-ever Homegrown Player signing at the goalkeeper position and third overall, following Tommy Thompson in 2014 and Nick Lima in 2017.
- He hails from Alamo, Calif. and attended De La Salle High School, the same as Chris Wondolowski, where he was on the high honor roll.
- He has represented the U.S. at various youth levels, including at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship and FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2017.
